Today, August 1st, marks the first day of The Cattle Tour. As you already know, this tour is aptly named after our upcoming debut album, All My Friends Are Cattle. As you of course already know as well, this tour will take us thousands of miles for 25 shows across 15 states and even more cities. 25 shows in 44 days. Light work…
We begin in Boston. We began in Boston last year. We begin again! Boston has always been so great to us, why wouldn’t we kick this party off in Beantown? On August 1st, we’ll hit the stage at Aeronaut Brewing in Allston for their summer concert series. There will be music, food trucks, deflategate1, really all the Boston staples. Speaking of Boston staples: welcome back Great Scott!! Looking forward to getting on a bill there in the future.Â
But if Boston is just the appetizer, then the following courses for the week are just as tasty:
August 2nd — Portsmouth, NH — The Press Room (supporting John Cruz)
August 3rd — Burlington, VT — Red Square
August 4th — Rochester, NY — Bug Jar w/ Jimso Slim
When we played The Press Room last summer, we knew immediately that it was one of our favorite venues. Ecstatic to be back again this summer in that picturesque New England port town, and to do so with a Hawaiian legend in John Cruz. If you haven’t listened to Acoustic Soul (or the Songs for Maui live album), I implore you to do so and watch your worries simply melt away.Â
Burlington marks a new city for us as band, but one we’re individually familiar with and so we know we’ve got a party on our hands that Saturday night. The only real question: do we load up on Ben & Jerry’s before or after the show? We round out the weekend back in Rochester at the tremendous Bug Jar. Been eyeing this venue for years, it’s a bonafide staple within the scene. Rochesterans (Rochesterians?), be sure to get there early to check out the soulful sounds of Jimso Slim!
Each tour takes on its own personality. Last year, The Validation Tour was a dip of the toe. Wide-eyed, we embarked on our first ever headline tour. One year later, one year older (though not at all wiser), we head back out on the road for The Cattle Tour. No turning back now.
Tour Merch
New tour, new merch. You know the deal.

We’ve got limited edition Cattle Tour 2024 shirts that feature an unreleased kaleidoscopic design to match all of the single and album covers. I think it’s of snakes? Either way, it looks cool as hell.2 The detail! The triangles to match the album cover. Ah, I just love it.
Vinyl has been back. It’s almost so back that it’s out. But you know what? Vinyl rules. And so for our debut full-length album, we knew we had to print some vinyls.3
Isn’t she beautiful??? So here’s the thing: you can pre-order one of these vinyls right now by pressing the button below:
Or. Or you can come to a show on the tour… where we may just have said vinyl records on hand… 👀
Curtain opens at 7pm today in Boston. And here we go…
Yes, I am bitter about the Celtics winning the chip this year and am deflecting the attention towards the lowest hanging fruit in a completely different sport, a situation that has been beaten dead as the footballs in question. Fuck Tom Brady.Â
This is my unbiased opinion. I’m strictly objective in all my correspondence about Gooseberry.
Even though it is exorbitantly expensive to do so. RIP to our piggy bank. (We don’t have a piggy bank, but if we did, it would absolutely be this guy right here. What an absolute unit.)
